Double jeopardy: No person shall be tried twice for the same offense.

What about double “spankardy”?  All in favor of not being spanked for the same offense twice, raise your hand!

For example, if someone was told to do the dishes, and didn’t do them, they should get spanked.  No disagreement there.  But…. what if, the next day, they still weren’t done?  Should they get spanked again?  Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Do you ever have arrangements like this—getting spanked for every day that a rule is broken, even if it is wasn’t intentionally broken again?  Or would you (spankee) even dare to not correct the situation immediately after a spanking?

Time out is a pretty common practice that is seen with spanking, and occasionally if I have a good reason to request that I don’t get a spanking, an extra long corner time might be an alternative.

Here in the States, we have a little tradition every February 2 that a ubiquitous groundhog emerges from the ground and looks for his shadow. Legend has it that if he does not see his shadow, the end of winter is near. If he does see his shadow, winter will continue for another six weeks. As luck would have it, this year he did see his shadow.

Of course, I suppose, if I lived somewhere like Florida, this wouldn’t matter so much. But I don’t and I am so antsy for warmer weather!!!

It is so nice to just throw on a sundress and run to the store for butter and eggs when a midnight homemade cookie craving hits…

We adopted him on New Year’s Eve from our local shelter.  He has quickly become our little snuggle buddy, alarm clock, and evening entertainment.

Forgive me for being so naughty with the updates on my blog. As I sit here, it is 12:30 AM and my last load of laundry is in the dryer. My room was sooo messy, I should have been spanked for letting it get so bad! I am still in the process of organizing… including finding all my important tax paperwork amidst the piles of stuff. (Oops!) Yesterday I took about 4 bags of clothes to the thrift store. It’s amazing how much clothes and stuff one girl can acquire. Anyway! Hey everyone! I am in L.A.!. I meant to update before I left, but you know how that goes…. I need a spanking just to get the things that *have* to be done accomplished. Does it ever seem like when it rains, it pours? Yesterday was one of those days…. only in a sexy sort of exciting way.

I was woken up with threats that if I did not get up and run an errand that needed to be completed by a certain time, I would be spanked for the rest of the week. Of course, I managed to make it and after that I went panty shopping. I had a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase, and almost bought 28 pair of panties (they were on sale!), but in the end, I could not find anything else I just had to have in order to bring the total up to $50, so I walked out with *only* 16 pair.

Ideally, a spanking is given as soon as an offending act is committed.  However, there are some instances where giving a spanking immediately after it is earned is not feasible– you are in a public place, the spankee is not in the same place as the spanker, it is too late at night to make noise, etc.

Then, the question arises of how long is too long to wait to give a spanking?  A day?  A week?  Can a spanking still be effective if takes too long to receive it?
