A few weekends ago, Herb and I went to a home show in our area. In the paper, there were coupons, which I, with my diligent coupon-honing skills, picked out and stuck on the refrigerator. As we left the house and drove down the street, I realized I had forgotten them, and asked that we turn around.. after all, $4 is $4, right?
In my defense:
1. We were not that far from home when we had to turn around.
2. We ended up getting free tickets and not needing the coupons after all.
3. It was equally his responsibility to remember them, too.
So, what do you think? Should I be spanked or not? And if so, what should the punishment be? (Be nice!!)

I think you should get a free pass on this one, it doesn’t sound like
such a big deal to turn around and get the coupons.How ever if this
is just one of many forgetful instance’s I think Herb should paddle
a certain someones butt.(and don’t forget corner time)

Do you really think the readers of your blog will pass up an opportunity to get you spanked? Especially when we might get to see pictures? Especially since we never saw any evidence of the spanking you were supposed to get for not keeping up your blog in the fall?
Ok,OK I’ll try to be fair.
Consideration of above information:
Whereas A) Free tickets and not needing the coupons is irrelevant assuming neither of you knew this ahead of time.
whereas B) It wasn’t that far back to the house and Herb knew about the coupons and agrees that it was equally his responsibility,
and whereas C) You have a lovely, spankable bottom.
Verdict:
On the basis of A) and B) no spanking is warranted. However, on the basis of C), you should get a bare-bottomed “funishment” hand spanking and post pictures of it on your blog. {grin}

Chloe, there are two kinds of spanking to me – the kind to be taken seriously, and the kind for pleasure or fun. For the latter kind, I think you should always be spanked, and I’d start by saying you should be spanked for looking so good in the last pic you posted.
If we’re talking about a serious spanking, then it depends on the context of the relationship and larger circumstances relevant to the problem. Serious spankings can be of two types, as well. One is strong corrective punishment, and the other is a milder spanking used to punctuate a discussion about the problem. How strict and demanding must a disciplinarian be for your needs? If you’re being monitored closely because of a problem with forgetting things you’re supposed to be responsible for, then this would be cause for more concern. Then, how has your general behavior been lately? To be a good judge, I’d have to know the whole story. On the surface of it, I don’t see anything serious enough in you forgetting the coupons to warrant a punishment spanking. A discussion spanking may be in order. Otherwise, it certainly could be a good reason for a play spanking.

Chloe….I hate having to turn around and go back because someone could not remember to get everythung BEFORE we left the house regardless if it didn’t matter in the end. Ithink you know where I am going with this.SORRY.
