As I said in my letter to you, I love to see a pretty girl like you getting any kind of spanking with almost any kind of implement, but for me there is nothing that quite compares to a good old fashioned caning. I am particularly fond of the school scenario where a naughty girl in school uniform is summoned to her Headmaster or Headmistresses for six of the best (or considerably more).

One of the things I love about the cane is the fact that unlike all other implements it can only ever have existed for one purpose. The use of belts, slippers, wooden spoons, even paddles as implements of correction, surely owe their origins to the fact that these were common household items which were readily available for the secondary purpose of administering domestic chastisement. But that simply isn’t true of the cane (with all due respect to your sock fishing story Chloe!). For this reason a caning possesses a distinct and compelling aura of ritual and fomality.

Then there is the visual aspect. I find the aesthetic of a crook handled cane to be sleak and elegant, yet purposeful and menacing. Indeed the mere appearance of a cane is evocative and erotic, particularly when it is bent and flexed in front of the naughty girl as she is berated for her misdemeanour and her sentence is pronounced. I also love to see the cane used to direct the naughty girl as to where and how to bend over, by pointing her in the appopriate right direction, tapping the item of furniture over which she should bend and rapping her legs, bottom or back if she is incorrectly positioned.

Then of course there is that wonderful swishing sound. As Chloe points out an expert caner should always flick the cane through the air to torment the naughty girl whilst she is lifting her skirt, dropping her nickers and bending over. There is also that exquisite crack as cane strikes buttocks.

As for the caning itself, well I love to see the girl’s facial contortions as the initial pain is followed a second or so later by the legendary stinging pain that courses throughout the whole body. Even the most hardened spanking models seem to struggle to retain their position for the duration of a caning and I have to admit that I quite like it when the naughty girl jumps up in mid caning, rubs her bottom and asks to be spared any further strokes. Not that this doesn’t mean that extra strokes should be awarded as a consequence! In fact one thing you didn’t really discuss Chloe is the sting of the cane and how it compares with other implements, particularly say the paddle?

As for the aftermath, well correct me if I am wrong, but it does seem that the sting of a cane lasts for quite a while after the final stroke and is stubbornly impervious to even the most frantic of rubbing. And then of course there is the not being able to sit down for a week syndrome in the days following the caning.
