In the beginning of our relationship, I was spanked with a belt quite frequently… Then after we attended the Shadow Lane party last August, and picked up a new “toy,” the paddle became the most frequently used implement in our collection. Well, just recently, we decided to bring out the belt… and we’ve been using it more frequently. So I said, “I thought the belt was for really serious stuff,” and he replied that because I really didn’t like the paddle, “the paddle is the new serious.”
Do you have an implement that gets used only when it’s really serious? Is it because it’s your least favorite implement, or for some other reason?

The belt is our ’serious’ implement. This is not because it is the most harsh but because it is the one that evokes the most memories/feelings/reactions. There is a mystique to it.

My “daddy” likes the belt for serious times though the hairbrush hurts more so I get that too, even though I like it more than the belt. Really the way punishments get more serious is the position its in. Like for really serious things, he’ll end with a hairbrushing in diaper position which in my opinion is by Far the worst!…it’s an interesting thought though. I always thought it’d be cool to have like the certain belt used for spankings that was only for the most serious offenses and then he could send you to the room to get the belt and stand in the corner…eek! lol, just my thought on the matter.

I have a short synthetic cane. It was sold under the name of white lightning. I hate it, especially when it is used really low down on the back of my legs (just above the knee joint). It only gets taken along when I have really f****d up and need to feel very contrite about something.

Serious punishment is rare for us, but there is one implement that I use for that. I’m not sure why that one, because most implements would serve the function fine, just depending on how they’re applied. Wooden paddles are easy to come by, so I’ve collected several over the years, keeping only the favorites. I have one particular small paddle that, for whatever reason, just isn’t very “sexy”. It’s simple and utilitarian, and delivers a focused burn that isn’t enjoyed at all.
I think it’s useful to have one implement in your house that kind of symbolizes pure discipline. Just the sight of it is a clear message that this is serious.

It really has to be the cane - used hard and “cold” without any warm up. The Belt and the slipper (well, actually sandal) neither have the same effect - either as a threat to use as a deterrent (and of course a deterrent only works if the “deterred” know that it will in last resort be used! There is nothing “sexy” about bending over for the cane, and in the right hands it can be provide very serious punishment indeed.

I actually like the belt so once that was discovered it was taken out of any punishment type situation. For that there is a very thick wooden bathbrush randomly found in some drug store. I rolled my eyes at it first but it stings like no other. Combine it with a rubber loop paddle and I am a VERY contrite girl.

Jon– I can definitely relate there. We have implements like that too.
Kelly– That does sound pretty hot. I’ve never been made to fetch my own implements… Occasionally I get to pick 2 out of 3, but usually none of the ones I like are included in the mix.
Prefectdt– Wow! That sounds intense. I never let the cane go below my bottom. Sometimes we need a good hard spanking session, but that sounds like too much for me.
Brett– I agree. One implement that you only pull out when you know you’ve really messed up.
Winchester– Eek. The cane is probably my least favorite. That has only been pulled out a couple times.
Kat– Yikes. Not a fan of wood… Bath brush AND a rubber loop paddle? I probably would be too!

For me it depends on the girl I’m spanking. I had this one friend that wouldn’t take a hand spanking but would take the belt. But when it was true punishment I would use a hairbrush. Another girl prefers the hairbrush or paddle, but when I have to spank her for real for something she did wrong I get the belt, which she hates. Then there’s another that will take all those but hate the switch. I always thought the worse was the belt, as Jon said, you say “I’ll get the belt” or “Go get the belt, now!” and it brings back memories.
That bikini must be really small, I didn’t see any tan lines…. LOL!
